Two bugs chase the pigeon using different routes. Frozen, fading, or disabled bugs are harmless.
Makes bugs harmless for 7 seconds.

Hidden at first. He appears on a cleared route cell after you earn 2,500 points in the current level. Collect him to gain 1 life.
Appears after 45% of the candies are collected. It slows bugs to 60% speed for 7 seconds, but they keep chasing and remain dangerous.
Hidden until at least 80% of the level's initial candies are collected, rounded up. It protects for up to 10 seconds; the first bug touched fades for 3 seconds and disappears until the next level.

Appears on a cleared route cell after every Food has been collected. Her orange aura scares bugs away and makes contact harmless for 20 seconds.
One appears for every 1,000 points earned in the current level. Collect it to leave an active egg on that cell.

Start with 1 egg and carry up to 5. Recover eggs from the path or leave them active to freeze bugs for 5 seconds. Inventory carries to the next level.
After every 3 main levels, the game switches to a separate fixed-screen challenge. Move the pigeon left and right along the bottom, catch falling avocados for 150 bonus points each, and avoid the knives. The first knife ends the stage immediately; otherwise it lasts up to 30 seconds and gradually becomes faster. Bonus points are added to the general score. Lives, eggs, active boosts, and main-level progress are preserved and unaffected.
Five Foods are selected from this collection for every level. Collect them for bonus points and collect all five to reveal Annie.
